150 Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad Annual Integrated Report 2015 FGV constantly seeks ways to further enhance its sustainability efforts and reduce greenhouse gas emissions such as methane released from palm oil processing activities. We capture and utilise the methane gas released from our wastewater anaerobic treatment facilities at our mills. To date, we have the largest number of biogas projects in the world and successfully utilised the methane for rural electrification and grid- connected electricity supply under our sustainable renewable energy supply programme.
