1. Integrity and Ethical Values • Code of Ethics and Conduct for Employees The Group has a set of Code of Ethics and Conduct for Employees, which sets out the principles to guideMalaysian employees based locally or overseas in carrying out their duties and responsibilities to the highest standards of personal and corporate integrity. The Group’s Code of Ethics and Conduct for Employees covers areas such as compliance with respective local laws and regulations, integrity, conduct in the workplace, business conduct, protection of the Group’s assets, confidentiality, conflict of interest and anti-competition practices. All new Malaysian employees are provided awareness briefing on the Code of Ethics and Employee Conduct booklet upon joining the Group. • Integrity Initiatives The Group had signed the Corporate Integrity Pledge with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on 9th April 2012. The signing of the Corporate Integrity Pledge signifies the Group’s unilateral declaration that it will not be involved with corruption, commit any act of corruption, work towards creating a business environment that is free from corruption and will uphold the Anti-Corruption Principles for Corporations in Malaysia. Several initiatives undertaken by the Group in FY 2013 are as follows: - Integrity awareness program for FGV Group 2013 - Integrity Visit Programme - ‘Integrity Champion’ programme for Integrity enhancement - Integrity Plan - Code of Business Practice - Corporate Integrity Pledge and Integrity Pact - Whistle Blowing Policy and Procedures The Group Procurement Division has also revised the Procurement Code of Ethics (PCE) to provide ethical guidance to vendors when dealing with the Group. The revised PCE was effective on 15th July 2011. A series of road show was undertaken in 2012 to explain the PCE to Malaysian employees and vendors. In addition, Integrity Pact was also signed with the Group’s registered vendors. A total of 724 vendors have signed the Integrity Pact as at 31st December 2013. 1. Integriti dan Nilai-nilai Etika • Kod Etika dan Tatalaku Pekerja . Kumpulan mempunyai satu set Kod Etika dan Tatalaku Pekerja yang menggariskan prinsip-prinsip yang membimbing kakitangan Malaysia yang berpangkalan di dalam atau di luar negara dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggungjawab mereka mengikut piawaian integriti peribadi dan korporat tertinggi. Kod Etika dan Tatalaku Pekerja Kumpulan ini meliputi bidang-bidang seperti pematuhan kepada undang- undang dan peraturan tempatan, integriti, tatalaku di tempat kerja, tatacara perniagaan, perlindungan aset Kumpulan, kerahsiaan, percanggahan kepentingan dan amalan anti- persaingan. Semua kakitangan baharu di Malaysia diberi taklimat kesedaran mengenai Kod Etika dan Tatalaku Pekerja dan buku kecil mengenainya apabila menyertai Kumpulan. • Inisiatif Integriti Kumpulan telah menandatangani Ikrar Integriti Korporat dengan Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) pada9Mac 2012.Majlismenandatangani Ikrar Integriti Korporat tersebut menandakan pengisytiharan sehala Kumpulan bahawa ia tidak akan terlibat dengan rasuah, melakukan apa-apa perbuatan rasuah, berusaha ke arah mewujudkan persekitaran perniagaan yang bebas daripada rasuah dan akan mendokong Prinsip Pencegahan Rasuah bagi Syarikat- syarikat di Malaysia. Inisiatif-inisiatif yang telah dilaksanakan oleh Kumpulan pada TK 2013 adalah seperti berikut: - Program kesedaran integriti bagi Kumpulan FGV 2013 - Program Lawatan Integriti - Program ‘Juara Integriti’ untuk peningkatan Integriti - Pelan Integriti - Kod Amalan Perniagaan - Ikrar Integriti Korporat dan Perjanjian Integriti - Dasar dan Prosedur Pendedahan Maklumat Bahagian Pemerolehan Kumpulan juga telah menyemak Kod Etika Pemerolehan (PCE) bagi menyediakan panduan etika kepada vendor ketika berurusan dengan Kumpulan. PCE yang telah disemak semula berkuatkuasa pada 15 Julai 2011. Satu siri jelajah telah dilaksanakan pada 2012 untuk menjelaskan tentang PCE kepada kakitangan dan vendor Malaysia. Selain itu, Perjanjian Integriti juga telah ditandatangani dengan vendor berdaftar Kumpulan. Sehingga 31 Disember 2012, sejumlah 724 vendor telah menandatangani Perjanjian Integriti tersebut.
