48 Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad Board of Directors Lembaga Pengarah Datuk Shahril Ridza Ridzuan, aged 42, a Malaysian, was appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 18th January 2012. He is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee. He graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Law from Oxford University, United Kingdom in 1992 and Master of Arts from Cambridge University, United Kingdom in 1993 and has been called to the Malaysian Bar and the Bar of England and Wales. He began his career as a Legal Assistant at Zain & Co. He then served as the Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman of Trenergy (M) Berhad/Turnaround Managers Inc (M) Sdn Bhd and subsequently joined Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad. He also held the position of Executive Director of SSR Associates Sdn Bhd and the Group Managing Director of Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Employees Provident Fund. He is also a director of Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad, Malaysia Building Society Berhad, Media Prima Berhad, PLUS Malaysia Berhad and Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad. He attended 17 out of 22 Board Meetings of the Company held during the financial year under review since his appointment as Director. He has no conflict of interest with the Company and does not have any family relationship with any Director and/or major shareholder of the Company. He has not been convicted for any offences within the past ten years. Datuk Shahril Ridza Ridzuan, berusia 42 tahun, warganegara Malaysia, telah dilantik sebagai Pengarah Bukan Eksekutif Bebas pada 18 Januari 2012. Beliau juga merupakan Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Audit. Beliau berkelulusan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Undang-undang Sivil dari Universiti Oxford, United Kingdom pada tahun 1992 dan Ijazah Sarjana Sastera dari Cambridge University, United Kingdom pada tahun 1993 dan telah dipanggil ke Badan Peguam Malaysia dan Bar of England and Wales. Beliau memulakan kerjaya sebagai Pembantu Perundangan di Zain & Co. Beliau kemudiannya berkhidmat sebagai Pembantu Khas kepada Pengerusi Eksekutif Trenergy (M) Berhad/Turnaround Managers Inc (M) Sdn Bhd dan seterusnya menyertai Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad. Beliau juga pernah memegang jawatan sebagai Pengarah Eksekutif SSR Associates Sdn Bhd dan Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad. Beliau kini merupakan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif KumpulanWang Simpanan Pekerja. Beliau juga merupakan seorang pengarah di Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad, Malaysia Building Society Berhad, Media Prima Berhad, PLUS Malaysia Berhad dan Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad. Beliau telah menghadiri 17 daripada 22 Mesyuarat Lembaga Pengarah Syarikat yang diadakan sepanjang tahun kewangan 31 Disember 2012 sejak pelantikan beliau sebagai Pengarah. Beliau tidak mempunyai konflik kepentingan dengan Syarikat dan tidak mempunyai sebarang hubungan kekeluargaan dengan mana-mana Pengarah dan/atau pemegang saham utama Syarikat.
