From 2013 till 2015, she was Head of the Research and Policy Development Division. She was appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Policy and Law Working Group in 2015 and left the Commission in 2018 to join Earthworm Foundation, an international non-profit organisation, formerly known as The Forest Trust. In Earthworm Foundation, she was responsible to oversee the palm programme in Malaysia, focusing on Environment, Social and Human Rights.
