ANNUAL INTEGRATED REPORT 2016 59 REPORTING ON WHAT MATTERS SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT OUR COMMITMENT AND APPROACH From EES perspective, managing the impacts is an essential component of our overall management approach and we work closely with our various Stakeholders to identify and address sustainability matters which substantially influence their decision making. Material issues that have been identified as being relevant to this Sustainability Statement are listed on page 58. This statement covers mainly the Group's Palm Upstream in Malaysia and Indonesia. Sustainability is anchored in our new SP20 and represents an integral part of FGV's corporate culture. This is reflected in the relentless drive towards an all- inclusiveapproachof valuecreation for all Stakeholders, including actively addressing socioeconomic demands such as job creation and rural development across all area of operation. Sustainability efforts and focus are geared towards not onlygrowing thebusiness optimally, but simultaneously delivering tangible social value creation, whilst using natural resources responsibly, and maintaining sound relationships with our Stakeholders. Sustainability is a top priority and business imperative for FGV Group and we adopt a holistic approach to our business strategies by considering the EES impacts and governance factors when striving for business continuity and competitiveness over the long term.
