60 Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad Senior Management Pengurusan Kanan FAIRUZ ISMAIL Head of Global Plantations Ketua Perladangan Global Fairuz Ismail, 49, a Malaysian, is the Head of Global Plantations of Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad. He has a Diploma in Planting and Industry Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). He started his career in 1985 at Golden Hope Plantations Berhad where he served within the group for 22 years. His last position was the Head of Plantation, Indonesia. After the merger between Golden Hope Plantations Berhad, Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad and Sime Darby Berhad in 2007, he was appointed as Region Head of Estates Operations in East Malaysia in the new entity, Sime Darby Plantations Sdn Bhd. He then continued his service as Head of New Projects in Liberia, Sabah and Sarawak. His last position at Sime Darby Plantations Sdn Bhd was as Head of Plantations, Africa. In 2010, he joined Felda GlobalVentures Holdings Berhad as SeniorVice President, Head ofTransformation and Management Office. He is an Exco member of Malaysian Palm Oil Association (MPOA) and also a member of several professional bodies namely Asian Institute of Management (AIM) and Incorporated Society of Planters (ISP). He also sits as a Board member of several companies within Felda Global Ventures Group of Companies. Fairuz Ismail, 49, warganegara Malaysia, adalah Ketua Perladangan Global di Felda GlobalVentures Holdings Berhad. Beliau mempunyai Diploma dalam Perladangan dan Pengurusan Industri dari Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Beliau memulakan kerjaya pada tahun 1985 di Golden Hope Plantations Berhad di mana beliau berkhidmat dalam kumpulan selama 22 tahun. Jawatan terakhir beliau adalah sebagai Ketua Perladangan, Indonesia. Selepas penggabungan Golden Hope Plantations Berhad, Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad dan Sime Darby Berhad pada tahun 2007, beliau telah dilantik sebagai KetuaWilayah Operasi Estet di MalaysiaTimur dalam entiti baru, Sime Darby Plantations Sdn Bhd. Beliau kemudiannya meneruskan tugas sebagai Ketua Projek-projek Baru di Liberia, Sabah dan Sarawak. Jawatan terakhir beliau di Sime Darby Plantations Sdn Bhd adalah sebagai Ketua Perladangan, Afrika. Pada tahun 2010, beliau menyertai Felda GlobalVentures Holdings Berhad sebagai Naib Presiden Kanan, Ketua PejabatTransformasi dan Pengurusan. Beliau adalah seorang ahli Exco Persatuan Minyak Sawit Malaysia (MPOA) dan juga ahli beberapa badan-badan profesional iaitu Institut Pengurusan Asia (AIM) dan Incorporated Society of Planters (ISP). Beliau juga adalah ahli Lembaga Pengarah di beberapa syarikat dalam Kumpulan Syarikat Felda Global Ventures.
