38 Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad CEO’s Review Ulasan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Manufacturing, Logistics and Others (MLO) Pembuatan, Logistik dan Lain-lain (MLO) LEVERAGING ON DIVERSE EXPERTISE The Manufacturing, Logistics and Others (MLO) segment are made up of companies under 49 percent-owned associate, Felda Holdings Bhd. Through these companies, FGV has a stable of leading expertise in agriculture and non-agriculture based activities and services, representing a combination of strengths to support and complement FGV’s core activities. This includes, amongst others, the largest and most advanced vegetable oil terminal in Malaysia handling nearly 25 percent to 40 percent of Malaysia’s total palm oil exports. Under this segment, we produce up to 30 percent of the nation’s natural rubber output from 110,000 hectares of rubber plantations and through ten rubber factories. In addition, we are engaged in downstream activities namely the production of natural rubber gloves. About 76 percent of these gloves are exported to the US, and 24 percent sold to European countries, Australia, Japan and local buyers. Other MLO companies engage in R&D, engineering, provision of security services, fertiliser manufacturing, transport, hospitality, IT and travel services. MEMANFAATKAN PELBAGAI KEPAKARAN Segmen Pembuatan, Logistik dan Lain-lain (MLO) adalah terdiri daripada syarikat-syarikat di bawah syarikat bersekutu pemilikan 49 peratus, Felda Holdings Bhd. Menerusi syarikat-syarikat ini, FGV memiliki kepakaran utama dalam kegiatan-kegiatan dan perkhidmatan pertanian dan bukan pertanian, yang mewakili gabungan kekuatan untuk menyokong dan melengkapkan aktiviti teras FGV. Ini termasuklah antaranya terminal minyak sayuran terbesar dan paling maju di Malaysia yang mengendalikan hampir 25 peratus hingga 40 peratus daripada jumlah eksport minyak sawit Malaysia.
