She has expertise in rural development and management, international industrial structure, plantation industry and women empowerment. Datuk Yatimah was appointed as Deputy Secretary General in the Prime Minister’s Department in 2015 and was later promoted as Director General, Department of Women Development in 2016. In 2018, she became the Director of Agriculture Division, Economic Planning Unit (EPU) of the Prime Minister’s Department. She is currently the Deputy Director General (Sectoral), EPU of the Prime Minister’s Department. Datuk Yatimah sits on the Board of Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) and FELCRA Berhad.
