93 ANNUAL INTEGRATED REPORT 2019 04 S E C T I O N An induction programme is conducted for newly appointed Directors via a briefing by the GMC members to provide Directors with the necessary information to assist him or her in understanding the operations of the Group, current issues and corporate strategies, as well as the Management structure of the Group. Save for Dr. Zunika Mohamed, all Directors have attended and successfully completed the Mandatory Accreditation Programme (MAP) as required by the Bursa Securities Listing Requirements. Dr. Zunika Mohamed shall be attending and will complete the MAP within the prescribed time set out by the Bursa Securities Listing Requirements. All Directors are encouraged to attend continuous education programmes, talks, seminars, workshops and conferences to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to ensure Directors keep abreast with new developments and legislation affecting the business. On an on-going basis, FGV identifies conferences and seminars that are beneficial for the Directors to attend. FGV provides a dedicated training budget for Directors’ continuous development.
